A NEW DAWN IS HERE!
Its no longer news that one of the many challenges faced by gospel arts in Nigeria is the lack of unconditional support from the the christian community towards these arts that are giving their best to bless others with their gifts and trying so hard not to compromise by joining the circular arts who on daily basis welcome opportunities to further make and get the best out of their talents!
We once did a survey on how many Christians hire gospel DJs or artists on their events or even play gospel musics on their events, the results were disappointing as most preferred circular arts for reason that were not really good enough, not good enough because if there was more support from the community these arts would work on their materials and get themselves better as they produce more materials!
Now, its important to note here that, we are not totally condemning circular arts because at the end of the day most of these so called circular artist are Christians too, they only do what they know how to do best and also what they believe has the highest market and pay!
Over time, we have seen many gospel arts break out of the church setting just to go find better opportunities in the circular platform, its not just happening in Nigeria but all around the globe!
We are well aware that there are existing bodies on ground to help encourage and support gospel arts, but truth is more can still be done!
We must start from the grass root! Its time the church woke up and gave her artists all the support they need to help them grow and reach out to more soles through their gifting!
More than ever before, we must become passionate, we are in an era where the world is in need of the touch of the church, we must together, united with one mindset to give a louder voice to our artists, the church is supposed to be winning the world over not the other way round!
Its time to stop wishing and start fishing, this is what this organization is about, where ever you are in the world, you can join this chariot, join this movement as we together fight to overcome the barriers faced by the gospel artist in our world of today!
